The "okay" sin

Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast affects the whole batch of dough? (1 Corinthians 5:6 NET)

Over the course of time, there are things in our lives that we know is wrong, but because we have done it over and over and over, or because it has become acceptable in today's culture, it has become "okay" in our lives. Unfortunately just because it has become "okay" in our lives, doesn't make it any less wrong. And once we say this sin is "okay" then this will, without exception, make other things "okay," like a domino effect. Then we get to a point where we wonder, "why am I not seeing God's promises coming to pass in my life," or we may say "how did I get to this point?" Fortunatey God is the God of second chances, and of the third and fourth and...well unlimited chances. It is never too late to turn to God and receive His forgiveness and repent.

Takee Away: if you have a sin that has become "okay" in your life, stop making excuses for your sin, turn to God, receive His forgiveness and repent.
