Choices are a part of everyday life, both good and bad choices, but they are still part of life. When God tells us to do something, we have a choice to make, much like the shepherds did when the angel told them about Jesus' birth. The shepherds could have said "that's cool, but I have flocks to tend to, I'll go see this miracle later." Thank God they didn't choose that route, but instead they chose to get on God's bandwagon and they hurried to do it! When God tells us to do something, we can either get on His bandwagon and enjoy the ride, or we can let the concerns of what's around us, our own ambitions, our own wants and needs take a higher priority. When we choose ourselves, we miss out on the blessings of God as well as the opportunity to minister to others. When the shepherds got to Mary and Joseph, they told them and everyone aound them about what the angel told them, and everyone was praising God! When we get on God's bandwagon, we not only minister to others, but the end result is praise to God!
